1 DFM and Moldflow Analysis
After your order is confirmed, our engineers will review your part design through DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and determine the best parting lines and gate locations. For complex parts, we can also perform mold flow analysis to check material filling and identify potential issues such as weld lines, air traps, sink marks, and warpage. This helps us find and fix potential problems before mold production starts, reducing tooling risks, rework, and unnecessary costs.
2 Mold Design
Our engineering team uses predictive modeling and advanced design tools to review your product design and identify potential issues before production. We look at key details such as structure, dimensions, material selection, and manufacturability, then suggest practical improvements where needed. This helps make your design easier to manufacture, reduce production risks, and achieve better precision in the final parts.
3 Manufacturing
CNC machining and EDM are the third stage of the process. Once the design is confirmed, we use high-quality CNC machines and electrical discharge machining technology to build the mold with the required accuracy and details. We can work with different mold-making materials, based on your part requirements, production volume, and budget.
4 Fitting
Mold fitting and assembly are the next stage of the process. After the main mold components are machined, our skilled mold technicians carefully fit and assemble each component to make sure the core, cavity, inserts, sliders, and other parts work together properly. We check critical dimensions, clearances, and alignment during assembly to ensure smooth mold operation and reliable part quality. Any necessary adjustments are made during fitting before the mold moves to the next stage.
5 T1 & optimization
T1 mold trial and optimization are the next stage of the process. Once the mold is assembled, we run a T1 trial to check the molding process and the first parts produced by the mold. Our engineers review key details such as filling, part dimensions, appearance, ejection, and mold operation to identify any issues. Based on the T1 results, we make the necessary adjustments to the mold or molding process, helping improve part quality, mold performance, and production stability before the final mold validation.
6 MP or shipping
Mass production or shipping is the final stage of the process. Once the mold and sample parts are approved, we move into mass production or prepare the completed mold for shipping, depending on your project needs. During production, our team keeps a close eye on part quality, dimensions, appearance, and molding consistency to make sure the parts meet the approved requirements. Before shipping, the mold or finished parts are inspected, properly packed, and prepared for safe delivery to your facility.
